for those who missed THIS era of the plagerism trials...

a few days ago, jay was walking around school. now, jay and her friends read my comic. so it's got a small following at her school. and she spots some guy drawing what looks like kyotoshi. so she hops on over, thinking hey cool, a fan.

'whatcha drawing?' jay asks the guy.
'my own original charachter, he's like some magic alcoholic rabbit or something.'

jay looks at the drawing. long tail, foot claws, patch on one eye, in colour. long ears that tuft at the end. short blonde hair. hmm. hekshanians aren't exactly a 'typical' design. jay looks at the kid.

very slowly, jay raises her right hand. she's been drawing kyo on it because she was bored. she stares at the kid.

the kid's mouth works. no sound. he quickly starts packing up his things and trying to get away.

jay starts yelling. "I'M TELLING SHIMO, YOU THIEF!"
"i don't know what you're talking about!" the kid yells back. jay swears at him and starts after, teacher grabs her. kid gets away.

but it's not over. jay goes home and starts talking to folks through the MSN grapevine. she talks to this kid's friend. she finds out that inside his sketchbook is not only kyo, but lots of inhuman characters. and BOA. and DMFA. and slightly damned. and alien dice. and alpha shade. and some other comics that i don't know. this kid is a ripoff machine.

jay and i fall to planning.

we decide jay is going to go to school and make him admit that he's stolen all this. admitting isn't good enough, she wants him to SIGN A PAPER admitting it's not his original stuff. and that he's a pig fucker. but that's incidental. she finds out he has a field trip the next day, and so decides she's going to dash and wait for him by the bus. she'll take care of it.

the next day...


but jay has that fightin' irish blood. she waited patiently by the bus for him after first period. when he came out, she jumped on the guy and stole his sketchbook to see for herself how much was ripped off and how much people were just TELLING her was ripped off. she'd seen the ripoff of my character with her own eyes, but who else?

she opened it. there were hundreds of ripoffs. everything was true. all the comics and THEN some, ripped off. knock-offs of the alpha shade fliers, alien dice's lexx...

jay demanded he admit he was stealing, she demanded he write the letter. the tard and thief continued to deny stealing and persisted they were all his original characters.

they fought. jay, having the power of good, won the fight. or maybe it was the power of pulling his hair and pulling on his nostrils. teachers came and broke them up and sent them both to isolation (which is where you sit in a chair, unwatched, behind a window while students laugh at you as they walk by.), but apparently not isolated. like an in-school suspension. however, because they were in isolation together, jay got to spend the next few hours just grilling him about theft and plagerism.

this thief and fantard does not seem to realize, he's stuck with jay for the next three years in school. she's going to be spending those watching him like a hawk for theft.
